CI/CD & integration

I build pipelines that take a code change through the checks and environments it needs before release, with feedback developers can use when something fails.

What I can take on

Application delivery

Connect repository events, container builds and deployment configuration. Give teams a working test environment and define how reviewed changes reach production.

Shared pipeline code

Bring common triggers, retries, logging and reporting into reusable templates or libraries. Keep the build and test steps specific to each project where they need to be.

Runners and test hardware

Configure execution resources and match jobs to suitable equipment. Define preparation, cleanup and checks before a resource returns to the available pool.

Integration and feedback

Link candidates to their build and test results, software combinations and execution environments. Return useful feedback through the repository and review tools developers already use.

Typical deliverables

  • Versioned delivery pipelines and shared code for common steps
  • Configured runners or agents, with resource preparation procedures
  • Build and test reporting and a documented path to release

Let the release requirements shape the pipeline

A web application may need a test deployment and review before production. Embedded software can require checks against a baseline, other devices and combinations of candidate changes. The pipeline should make that process repeatable and retain the context needed to understand a failure.

How this looks in practice.

Standardising CI/CD across projects

A shared Jenkins framework replaces separate implementations of triggers, retries, reporting and developer feedback across more than a hundred projects and pipelines.

  • Shared libraries
  • Pipeline standardisation
